Raghu Madabushi is an Investment Director at Samsung Catalyst Fund, Samsung Electronics’ multi-stage venture capital fund investing in deep tech AI infrastructure. He focuses on investments across artificial intelligence infrastructure, semiconductors, cloud and data center technologies, enterprise software, and industrial systems.

Raghu brings experience spanning three decades as an engineer, public-market technology analyst, company builder, and venture investor. Prior to joining Samsung Catalyst Fund, he was a Director at National Grid Partners, where he led investments in AI, cybersecurity, critical infrastructure, enterprise software, and energy transition technologies. He previously held investing roles at SRI Ventures, GE Ventures, and Intellectual Ventures, helping launch, commercialize, and scale breakthrough technologies.

Earlier in his career, Raghu held semiconductor and software engineering roles at Intel, Texas Instruments, and Cadence Design Systems, founded an environmental sensing startup that was subsequently acquired, and covered technology companies as an equity research analyst. He holds an MBA in Finance and Investments from Southern Methodist University, an M.S. in Computer Engineering from Iowa State University, and a B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the University of Madras. He is a Kauffman Fellow (Class 24).
