News Oct 12, 2018 Samsung Catalyst Fund Team

At the #SamsungCEOSummit in San Francisco, guests enjoyed thought-provoking technology demos from some of Samsung’s portfolio companies as well as researchers from academia. The demos helped bring to life the theme of this year’s CEO Summit: how AI is helping shape our future.

Mantis Vision demonstrated its advanced 3D content capture and sharing technologies, whose applications include 3D cameras for smartphones, AR/VR devices, professional scanning cameras, and live 3D telepresence. Mantis Vision technology, based on coded lights that can be embedded into any device, can stream live volumetric content and deliver a vivid, 3D mixed-reality experience.
